I recently came across these very same hats at a local mall this past Christmas. As an avid walker and hiker, even in the dead of winter I am always looking for something a little warmer and more comfortable with the least amount of effort to put on, or carry along. For years there was the traditional knit hat, or toque that was on my list as standard equipment both for walking and hiking. That is until I tried one of these on at the mall this past holiday season and decided that they have easily incorporated into the design of these the 3 essentials necessary for keeping warm and comfy while braving the winters savage elements. A knit toque for the head, an extended ear flap to take care of the ears, and a visor for the very obvious reasons as to why we very often need one. Quite simply put, I found these hats to be far more warm and comfy than the traditional toque for surviving the long winter here in New England. Most of all, I wish that I had located the hats here before...

Monkeying around
Bought this for my nine year old because who doesn't love a sock monkey? I was a little worried because it was such a low price. How good could it be? Wow, it is well made and one of her favorite hats. And as we live in Indiana, we need to wear a hat and why not look good doing it! The hat is an adult size hat and easily fits my 23 year old son. My daughter has already worn it and gotten lots of compliments. This hat is well worth the cost and made so well, I am sure my daughter will wear it for many winters.

Very cute and well-made, but seems small for an avg adult head
This is very cute and well-made for the price, but I felt like I was fitting a condom to my head. My head isn't abnormally huge either and i'm used to beanie hats being much looser. Hopefully this will stretch out in time and not feel so tight. Otherwise, a good buy. It's too freak'n cute. BTW, Yes, it is cheaper at other places, but not by much and it comes right to you. Who cares.*Update* I found out the reason it is small is because most of these are made in ONE SIZE for a kid and adult alike. I find that odd, but at least it fits. Just a heads up for those of you that are confused.

Great Hat, Great Price
It recently got very cold where I live and this hat does the trick at a very low cost. No complaints. It's held up to me shoving it in backpacks and coat pockets. The best part is I don't have to worry about leaving it somewhere, which, being the space cadet that I am, I tend to do. Since the hat is a cheap buy, it'll only set me back a couple of bucks. Pretty Cool
I came across these when searching for a 'slouchy' beanie. I wasn't really seeing any under $20. So usually, when I find something so much cheaper than the average price, I don't really give it much consideration - in general, you get what you pay for. But I loved the many bright colors and read good reviews (on another posting) so I ordered a couple. Bright green and purple. They aren't as slouchy as I'd hoped, but the description didn't say that they were. So it was my fault for assuming 'long beanie' was the same as 'slouchy beanie'. When I first tried them on they pretty much stuck straight out, haha. But I washed them in cold water and they loosened up a bit. The purple one shrunk 1.5" and the green didn't shrink at all. Now the purple one actually fits my small head a little better. I live in Florida so I can't really say how well someone would stay warm in more northern areas, but the beanies are fairly thin. They'll keep me warm, but I get cold at temperatures...

Size listed was not specified in sizing chart. New born is 0-6 months, Infant is 6-18 months. I got infant thinking he wouldnt wear it until he was a few months old. Infant size is huge!
